To share the Strategic Director of Public
Health’s Annual Report “Creating the Right Environments
for Health” with the Health and Wellbeing Board.
It is a requirement for all Directors of Public Health to produce
an annual independent report on the health of their local
population. The annual report is the Strategic DPH’s
independent professional statement about the health of local
communities, based on sound epidemiological evidence, and
interpreted objectively in their role as an independent advocate
for the health of the population and system leader for its
improvement and protection
