THE CONTRAFLOW BOLLARDS ON THE A327 IN ARBORFIELD SHOULD BE REMOVED IMMEDIATLEY BECAUSE THEY ARE:
1. Unnecessary and dangerously positioned because some are
located on or near bends in the road
2. A gross waste of money - illuminated speed advisory signs should
have been employed with minimal cost and impact on traffic
flows
3. Confusing, dangerous & likely to cause HEAD-ON road
accidents especially during hazardous winter driving
conditions
4. Confusing, dangerous & likely to cause VEHICLES TO LEAVE THE
CARRIAGEWAY especially during hazardous winter driving
conditions
5. Causing frustration to drivers due to unnecessary traffic
congestion especially at peak times
6. Causing additional pollution and wasting of fuel (waste of
money) while drivers have to sequentially navigate sections of the
contraflow
PLEASE REMOVE BOLLARDS AS A MATTER OF URGENCY
