Decisions

That the Executive Member for Highways and Transport agreed:

1.     That the Speed Limit Traffic Order and associated traffic calming measures were not installed at this time;

2.     To allow the building of the NWDR, and carry out further monitoring of the area with traffic surveys to enable consideration as to whether, at that time, a reduced speed limit would be practical;

3.     To approve the implementation of Speed Indicator Devices (SIDs) and the collection of traffic speed/flow data;

4.     That officers would write to objectors informing them of this decision.

That the Executive Member for Planning and Enforcement agreed that Wokingham Borough Council adopt and publish the Updated Local Validation List contained in Appendix B to the submitted report.

That a full public consultation be undertaken on the Draft Revised Rights of Way Improvement Plan 2020/2030.

That the transfer of all statutory functions (Brokerage and Support Services) and staff from Optalis Ltd to Wokingham Borough Council be agreed.

To approve a 6 week consultation on the draft Neighbourhood Plan and the appointment of an independent Examiner to examine the Plan

That:

1)        a 6 week consultation on the draft Arborfield and Barkham be approved; and

2)        an examiner be appointed to independently examine the Arborfield and Barkham Neighbourhood Plan, delegating the appointment and submission of the examination documentation to the Director of Corporate Services in consultation with the Lead Member for Planning and Enforcement.

To endose the the work carried out by Thames Valley Berkshire LEP to date on the framework document for the BLIS.  To approve the responses to the consultation questions to the BLIS framework document

That:

1)        the work the Thames Valley Berkshire Local Enterprise Partnership has done to date on the Berkshire Local Industrial Strategy Framework Document be endorsed;

2)        the responses from Wokingham Borough Council to the consultation questions posed on the Berkshire Local Industrial Strategy Framework Document be approved.

That the Executive Member for Finance and Housing appointed Richard Dolinski (Independent Group) and Shirley Boyt (Labour Group) to the Tenant and Landlord Improvement Panel for the remainder of the 2019/20 municipal year, from the nominations received as set out in appendix A to the report.
