Last year the council, started leaving the grass long in most of the parks and open spaces.
As a result people with various breathing an related problems has their health affected. My own experience saw the cost to the NHS for my mediation go up 8x during the period the grass was left long and return to normal shortly after the grass was cut. How much my long term health would be affected by the 'money saving measure' only time would tell.
They hide behind the excuse they are helping nature but the residential parks and public spaces are an insignificant proportion of the space in Wokingham.
