Despite the speed limit varying between 30 and 40 mph, there are
high numbers of vehicles exceeding the speed limit,
dangerously.
The local residents are highly concerned for the safety of their
children walking to school, people jogging and walking their dogs
along pathways, which at some points are narrow enough for people
to walk in single file.
We understand that the installation of other traffic calming measures have been previously rejected, but feel the risk is significant enough to continue petitioning for better road safety.
