Jenny Cheng

I moved to Reading from Harlow, Essex in the 1970’s and worked at Reading University as a secretary where I met my husband.  I subsequently worked as a legal secretary / assistant.

We had three children and I spent many years as a mother and housewife.

I have lived in the area ever since and now live in Earley.

I became a Councillor on Woodley Town Council in 2007 where I have served on the Planning, Leisure Services and Community Services Committees.

I was Mayor of Woodley for two years.

I have also been a governor of Hillside School, Waingels College and The Bulmershe School.
