Personal Information

·      I have lived in Earley for 16 years;

·      I am married with two boys

·      A qualified accountant with a post graduate in IT who was a head of finance for a very large medical company;

·      Founder member of Arthritis Matters Reading;

·      Currently working as a Change Manager for Transport for London;

·      I enjoy reading and watching sports.  I look forward to Arsenal winning the title this or any year.

Interests

There a number of concerns I have and some of these are highlighted below:-

·      I would like to see more attention paid to the green agenda.  My focus here is on issues that support the residents to improve the quality of their lives: community gardens, more public orchards, more cycle lanes, our parks to be more family oriented, and I would also like to see more tennis courts in our parks;

·      Better services for the elderly so that they have more activities and places to meet up;

·      The conditions of roads and general public infrastructure vary across Wokingham.  Progressive differential leads to a gap that then becomes difficult to close due to cost  Consequently, I want greater equity regarding financing initiatives across Wokingham;

·      I also worry about the burgeoning debt at Wokingham that is becoming a burden for its residents.
