Attended Manchester University, where read English 1980-December 1992. Worked in the Computer Department at BP's HQ in London and Harlow Essex. Married 1988. 3 Children. Moved from London to Winnersh May 1989. Elected to Winnersh Parish Council May 1995. Still a parish councillor. Chair, Wokingham Constituency Liberal Democrats Nov 1997 to 2000. Lib Dem Parliamentary candidate in Wokingham at 2005 and 2010 General Elections. Governor of Forest School since July 1999. Most notable achievement: making it to the series final of '15 to 1' in 1990.
