Reason For Consideration: The Council is considering entering into a Loan of 'The Arc' public art installation for the same to be installed at Carnival Hub. Although the loan is at £nil cost, the Council will be required to insure and will be responsible for reimbursing Arts4 Wokingham in the event the Artwork is damaged to the extent of the insured sum. As the insured sum will be in excess of £150k then Executive approval to enter into the loan is required under the Councils constitution (Part 12.1.13.7 ('Loans, Leases and Guarantees').
