Discretionary Increase in National Planning Application Fees

 

 

Purpose: To allow the Department for Communities and Local Government to be informed that Wokingham Borough Council accepts the offer to raise planning application fees by 20% ont he basis that this will be invested into the planning services.

Reason for urgency:
It has only just come to light that the Council must confirm by 13 March 2017 if it accepts the offer for raising planning application fees. A holding response has been sent but the Executive needs to agree the increase as soon as possible to allow this to be formally confirmed.
