Church road between A327 and Farley hill school is very
dangerous for those wanting to walk or cycle their children to
school. There is no footpath for most of the hill and the road is
narrow with a 60mph speed limit meaning that it is highly dangerous
to consider any mode of transport other than car.
There is a big issue with traffic at the school during school drop
off and pick up hours and a lot of parents are looking into other
forms of transportation. However, the high risk that comes with
travelling along church road in anything other than a car makes it
impossible to attempt.
