Decision

Following consideration of the application and the relevant representations given verbally at the meeting and in writing, the Sub-Committee decided to allow the transfer of licence to Harun Miah because there was no evidence brought against him and this was not contested by the Home Office Officer.  The decision was not unanimous.

The Sub-Committee raised grave concerns over the lack of supervision and the history of illegal work at the premises.

Conditions

The Sub-Committee wished to encourage the responsible authorities to continue to monitor the premises and the licence holder to ensure no illegal working takes place in the future.
