Issue - meetings

That:

1)       the making of an Order for the closure of Footpath Remenham No 4, for a closure of an 80m section of the footpath for the set up and de rig of the Festival stage from Monday 8th to Wednesday 10th July 2019 inclusive and from Monday 15^th July to Tuesday 16^th July 2019 inclusive be approved;

2)       within the closure a 620m section be included for evening performances from Wednesday 10^th July to Sunday 14^th July 2019 inclusive and day time performances on Saturday 13^th July and Sunday 14^th July, under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, subject to the receipt of the requisite consent of the Secretary of State for Transport.

The Executive considered a report relating to a request for temporary closure of Remenham Footpath 4 to allow the Henley Festival to be organised and run in a safe manner whilst enabling residents and visitors to continue using the footpath via a short detour.

RESOLVED that:
