The 19a and 19c buses provides the only bus service from Woodley, Whitegates and Maiden Erlegh to the University and the Royal Berkshire Hospital. This is the only service linking Bulmershe to the university and hospital areas and as such is used by many students. Furthermore 35% of the bus users are elderly and/or disabled and the service provides a vital link to the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
