The Council is made up of 54 Councillors, representing 25 wards across the Borough. Currently, there is not a single political party which holds majority control of the Council, the Council is therefore considered to have ‘no overall control'. The current political balance of the Council is:
Day to day decisions are made by the Executive. The Executive is made up of the Leader and up to 9 other Councillors. Information regarding the decisions taken by Executive, committees, etc, as well as officer delegated decisions taken by council officers. The forward plan will show upcoming decisions.
